restore shortcuts

ok so ive lost all my shortcuts, none of them work or even show an icon anymore.
i was going theo regedit to remove the arrows on shortcuts but somehow i have deleted all shortcuts and icons.

is there eaways to restore them or is this a reinstall job?

please help

Hiya,
You mean s-cuts as-in say games/utils etc ??

If you still have stuff installed that you want s-cuts to just goto exe on each one and right mouse click over it, Scroll down to Send to then Desktop (creative shortcut) this sends s-cut to desktop, From there copy/paste or drag etc to wherever you wish, If needed delete desktop ones if you dragged down to bar etc

As for future s-cut removal i would look for tweakui or a regedit site or tweak xp/tweak vista site

Might not be what you meant but it saves a re-install just for shortcuts

all sorted now!!
i meant by shortcuts EVERYTHING i.e desktop, menubar,taskbar everything lost its icon and wouldnt do anything, couldnt even right click and "send to" as it only gave limited options!
had to get a friend to send across a copy of his reg and put into notpad and then merge with registry after restart everything ok so far!!
