Does anyone have any tips on how to restore some plastic fixtures? Things like wall mounted tissue dispensers, wall mounted soap containers, the plastic wall trunking that covers wiring/oxygen pipes etc.

It's a fair few years old and has turned that horrible beige colour through sun exposure/time.

Many thanks

cream cleaners will do the job perfectly, just don't push too hard to scratch. we use the pink stuff at work and it literally removes every single mark, scuff, ingrained dirt with almost zero pressure. also you'll want a good cloth, don't use these pathetic j-cloths, you want a good thick microfibre that you rinse out regularly.

ah sorry just seen you'd said it'd gone beige. unfortunately i can't recommend with that, just the cleaning side.

I would guess that some plastics get grubby but most would likely be sun damaged. It would require a very fine grade wet and dry, although something like a granulated paste would probably do if you had a orbital sander with a sponge head.
Home bargains do a load of this type of cleaning stuff.
