Hi there,
I have been googling around for the answer to this but so far have come up short. I just bought some new kit including a new ssd and I thought I would put windows 8 on it. All worked okay but I wanted to delete some files of a second drive (old windows files from previous installation) but I couldn't because I didn't have the right access. Anyway, long story short, I installed a small reg edit which allowed me to take control. Mad with power I think I took control of some things on my root c:\. Now when I am installing programmes I always come up with a permissions error.
Is there anyway to reinstate the default windows 8 permissions?
Thanks
Rossco
