i've never really used offline files before but i'm giving it a go at the moment, i understand how it works as we use it at work, however at home i have set a folder up on my NAS that i want offline which is simple enough.
however, also i occasionally do a full disk backup in acronis, how does that work when i restore an image that i've previously set up with offline files?
for example, file X, created 1st feb 2011, i do a sync and both NAS and offline cache have that file. i then do a full disk backup, just incase of system crash.
now tomorrow i decide to change it and now its different and naturally that version gets sync'd on the NAS+offline files. thats pretty straightforward so far.
i then realise something has gone wrong and need to do a full disk restore, when i restore it will have the original version because thats what it had when i did the backup, but will offline folders correctly sync the modified version from the server (new ver) to offline cache (old ver) instead of the other way around?
