restoring macbook pro

hi there,

I am doing restore of mavericks... do the command r go through all steps.. downloads it and installs 2 hours later after rebooting its still the same and nothings been wiped!

any ideas?

Thats just a repair install, you'll have to go in to disk utillity and wipe the hard drive if you want a fresh install.
