I've been going through my backups today and I've found some old Thunderbird backups, I'm not sure what version of the software I was using at the time but it's from 2010.
The format of the backup is a mail folder, then a folder inside that called local folder then individual files inside of that, inbox, sent, drafts etc.
Now, how the bejesus do you restore them? I'm in application data\thunderbird\random characters.profile
I've tried to copy the mail folder into that directory, the local folder into that directory, the files into that directory and every time I start Thunderbird it asks to configure a mail account.
Anyone got any ideas?
