Retail A64 x2 core or Oem?

Just wondering wether to get the Retail or Oem versions of the AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+.

Does the Oem have less warranty on it? I heard the Oem only comes with 1 year warranty and the retial has 3 years. Can someone confirm this before I order.

I ask becuase I wouldnt be using the retails heatsink fan as I have a A64 freezer and would use that.
