Retail vs Oem

The OEM chips from here are rejects from a binning process, so you'd have better luck with retail for overclocking.

OEM are unused. Where did you hear this from, as that is completely untrue. You have the same chance with Retail and OEM.

Binning process is for our system process only, and does not affect our stock in the warehouse.

Well typically my luck I ordered the retail this morning and now its gone on weekly sale. Neither oem or retail Ivy-E chips come with heatsinks or any enthusiast chips as far as I am aware :)

Retail.

You know for sure that your CPU hasn't been "cherry picked", wherever you buy it from.

The extra warranty is also not a bad thing to have.

Sorry, I've misunderstood a thread about it a while ago. I'll delete / amend the other post.
