When is the best time to deal with retentions ?

1. before contract ends
2. date it ends
3. after it ends

anyone know whens the best time to do this to mabe get the best deal?

we phoned retentions on 29th march last year and accepted there offer so im guessing its a 1 year contract and will be up on the 29th again

Normally as close to it as possible sometimes companies will be very unhelpful unless you are within the last month of your contract.
