Really simply, still have a PC from years ago.
No idea on specs, but it ran xp.
Doesn't work, can't remember why it broke either.

But I just thought about old photos and bit's that I had on there.
What would happen if I were to take out the HDD from it and hook it up to my PC?
Will it want to format or something? Thought I'd ask here, before I try it.

Thanks

Plug it in and it will just be seen as another drive as long as all is well with it. There's no reason why it will want to format unless it's corrupt or something.

You should be fine, I don't think it'll ask to format at all, just plug in and use as any other HDD you'd plug in

Your current system should see it as another storage drive and assign it a drive letter.

You might need to to use a caddy or a adapter as it might be IDE rather than SATA.
