Retrieving or changing forgotten password windows 7

My sister has given me her old laptop :) , she hasn't used it in a while and cannot remember her password for windows 7 :rolleyes: does anyone know how i can retrieve it or change it or delete it all together? :confused:

Using the Lazesoft Recovery Suite I have managed to unlock the password. However, when I am working in Lazesoft the mouse and keyboard work perfectly but when I reboot to windows the mouse and keyboard don't seem to work. ~Any ideas what I need to do I have tried in safe mode as well to no avail. Seems funny that it all works ok in the LRS.
All help appreciated.

Cant you just do a factory reset, usually f2 f5 or f8 at boot to see the option. I take it you don't care about what is on there at the moment?
