Brian on Retro Rides (link to the 'Other Modifications' forum) reminded me of these....Had forgotten that I had them!

Dunno how old they are or where they're from but my dad had them when I were but a we'en.

Really rather good.

Possibly the most uncomfortable cans I've ever tried though. After 15 minutes your ears are hot, sweaty and in agony as the cans try and flatten your cartlidge.

shed tbh. Oh, wait wrong forum ;)

I used to have a pair a bit like this, I'm with you on the ear sweating factor.. put me off using them for anything else and I think they now languish somewhere in the garage. I am struggling to think what practical use they can be, but then I suppose I'm missing the point aren't I? ;)

I've got a pair of Bang and Olufsen U70 kicking about from my parents, no idea how old they are, but the styling is hideous. Sound is great though :D

SLide the cups up the headband a bit more so they appear lowered, tilt them a bit for more camber, then let them rust (plastic :D)

Get some alessandro MS1 cans, those are retro, and don't have the dispicable model number badge on them :D
