Retro console and games thread

I was quite chuffed with Zelda, only cost me £11, however it is missing the map, has everything else though including the secrets booklet

I bid on the map last week but the that alone went for almost £20 which is more than I'm interested in paying since the most I've spent on any single game was the £11 for Zelda.
 
My Resident evils came today,all in mint condition.They were abit pricey £45 but i think for all 4 it wasn't too bad

I also found some jap ps1 games not sure where they come from tbh found them while looking for my old master system games in the loft

I've just bought Res Evil 1 for the gamecube, already have Res 2 here and I've also bought the Res Evil 1 for the wii

on ebay the gamecube collection goes for silly money, some people have put it up for a buy it now price of over £100 !!
 
the gamecube prices seem to be going up loads , think there must be allot of people collecting gamecube stuff because ebay prices are getting more and more expensive.I wouldn't mind nemesis but i might have to wait for next month

Bad news is both my saves on Super Mario World and Super Metroid wiped today, coincidental joint battery deaths or is it possible to wipe a cart save by resetting too much?

Guess I need to do some cart cleaning this weekend so games work immediately.
 
Evermore was £17 so my new highest paid game, Bomberman 2 was £9, havn't played a Bomberman game since Saturn Bomberman when I was 15, will sink way too many hours into it over the next few weeks I'm sure.
 
Where on earth did you find bomberman 2 for that money!

Quick request to my fellow retro peeps. Does anyone have an original xbox memory they dont want use I could buy / borrow at some point in the future. Want to transfer ssves from old machine eventually

I sold a street fighter boxed snes on eBay about 3 years ago and the box was worse condition then that and didn't have all the leaflets and poster and it sold for £45 +£10 post, with prices these days I think in that condition your looking at £60+ on eBay
 
I saw that and was tempted myself...

I just picked up an American import of final fantasy tactics for the ps1, and I'm considering getting a wii just to replay all the Zelda games.
