Retro console and games thread

Good luck finding those at a car boot! :p

Yea i cant see it happening so spent a few pounds on ebay this evening, Ocarina unboxed for 9.50, lylat wars for 1.50, and boxed diddy kong racing for just under a 5er :D got a cable on the way from a chap on this thread then retro month will begin :)
 
I have been to loads bootsales this year with my cousin and hardly ever see SNES games, today I was at work and my cousin walks into work with a bag of SNES carts from booty. Allot of sports games but he paid £2 a cart for decent titles then sports gamed the guy have him 7 for £10 , my cousin said if I give him his cash back I can have them :)

Ah right, fair enough, still cheap SNES games at the end of the day :p.

Any in good condition (No yellowing or chips/scuffs) that you'd be willing to let go of (Using the MM of course ;))?
 
Friend who is much better at soldering did the 50/60hz switch mod on my megadrive for me today. Works a treat!

Games run so much quicker and full screen :)

Currently in debate also whether to buy a copy of xmen vs streetfighter on saturn. Been offered complete version inc expansion for 22 posted. Its proper rocking horse doo-doo situ to find an immaculate copy
 
When selling a bundle of say 6 ps2 games, what should i expect to pay postage? From your experiance via the postie

It may not be worth the hassle but have a few lying around and i doubt its worth flogging them individually

i been using collect+ it costed me about £4.89 to post like a box of 10 n64 boxes for games,2kg or less royal mail are a con costed £3 to send a snes game in a jiffy bag
