Retro console and games thread

So i made a start today on my Retro corner.
It was basically the cloakroom under our stairs which was just a dumping ground for Junk etc.
So i sorted that mess out and went and bought a cheap TV stand from Argos and this is where I'm at now.
Nothing was plugged in at the time as i need to get a SCART splitter box. Plugged the NES in though to have some Mario time
The N64 will probably get put away as I'm expecting my Megadrive to arrive this week. Will more than likely paint it in some nice colours and get myself a comfy bean bag.
Awesome unit. Looks tidy! What size/make is that Sony?

Picked up two PS1 games from a charity shop:
- Crash 2. All over good. Even has the demo cd. £1.09.
- Die Hard Trilogy. All over very good, but is cheap budget edition. £1.59.

OMFG legendary games! Loved all 3 Die Hard games on that, the lightgun one was amazing! Good taste man.

Thanks to cee-S-dee for highlighting the cheap Argos TV unit (I love the use of space under the stairs for a mini man cave), I have now started to re-built by retro / gaming corner in our second bedroom.
I was enjoying a little bit of Goldeneye last night. Possibly a little too much as I didn't realise I was sat 3 feet from the TV like I was eight again (I think we can all remember being hunched over in front of a small portable TV playing Sonic / Mario)
I still have to connect everything up (which will take me forvever as I hate messy wires) and find a storage unit for all of my controllers / accessories.
On a seperate note the PS3 is just for decoration. It is a launch 60GB model and sadly doesn't work anymore

I'm clearing out my old consoles and I found my old Mega Drive 2.
I don't know if it still works but it has a few games Sonic 2, Mega Games 2, FIFA 95 & 96, Sonic Spinball and Pete Sampras tennis.
The games have cases but might not have booklets, I'll take pictures tonight.
Anybody want it? Only have to pay for delivery
