This showed up today. My first PC Engine game. £5.99 delivered and it was brand new sealed

The game is pretty tough. The hitbox is the actual whole dragon so you have to really keep away from the bullets. Really fun game and will try and go all the way through when i get the time

Best place is Cash Convertor or Cash Generator if you have on near by.

Not exactly retro but I lost my 3DS with Pokemon Y during the week

So I have been looking around them to find a cheap 2nd hand replacement and GBA's are cheaper in there than Ebay.

Anyone know... where you can get the cardboard inserts from that go inside a Master System controller? (under the D-pad)

Mine have perished and someone must sell them cheap somewhere..

there's a bundle of faulty controllers going on ebay, I'm not the seller but there's deffo a master system controller in the bundle. I'm tempted to get it myself as my snes controller is yellow'd.

That's amazing.

Found another (smaller) box. This time with mostly N64 stuff.

I also unpacked all the PS and PS2 games onto some spare shelves in the den. The Wii, N64 and PS2 are now hooked up to the TV there.

So the lunchbox is now hooked up to the big screen

The simple layering of the 8 bit platformers works pretty well with the 3D glasses.

you seen the price he was asking lol .

at one point i had 1000 games and about 100 consoles a few years ago

sold most of them off though when prices ere really strong.

still have many consoles though just not as much

to the guy who wanted a mk1 master system dont fall into silly prices . they are fairly common still but dont command sell at prices people think they can get for them.

a clean eg boxed is worth about 30-50 depending on how clean. a mint one probably 60-80 max.

players can be had from a tenner.

Can't say i've seen one on Gumtree since i've been looking and i don't use ebay. Not really any local carboots that i know to either so i'm limited to where i can get stuff. Amazon is overpriced and you don't really know what you're getting. Guess i really need to start using ebay although you don't really know what you're getting from there either. Only other option i can see is local retro stores.

I recently traded in my GC as it simply wasn't getting used (and wasn't the colour I really wanted anyway). My Wii acts as my GC and has the added bonus of component support.

I also got rid of a few PS2 games which I want to pick up on the Xbox.

Nothing else has really changed bar the fact the TV I was using broke and so has been replaced with a new 24" 1080p LCD. I went with a LCD for a couple of reasons:

1) Games on the DC (main console I play on) now look even better than before;
2) I will be moving my PS3 to this setup once the DLNA features come to the Xbone/PS4. I thus wanted a TV with HDMI inputs;
3) My wife uses the setup for watching DVD's / Blu Rays when she is working on the main PC (three screens isn't enough...

).
4) I like playing the game of how blurry can a N64 get before you can't make anything out on screen.
