Neil that is an awesome piece of kit! I would love to own a Speccy version if one was ever made. Show us some more pics!
Hah, I've got a Sega Megadrive II and Sega CD and my brother has a NES and SNES, so it would be good to compare. Ok so it's not the real thing but it does allow you to use original games. That's what we are going to review, is it any good, don't know yet![]()
Im only jesting(jealous much?)
Look forward to your review bud!
Look what santa dropped off at IRN!

Shame I can't use Members Market, I had thought it was 500 posts, doh
Was looking to get one but when I read the reviews and its basically a emulator. I was like![]()
It is emulation still as they use a system on chip setup. I seem to recall hearing that the creators of the Retron 5 (a similar system) recently got busted for using some emu software on it without the authors permission.
Have decided I am definitely selling the Saturn stuff, don't want it to get out of hand and fill my office / den with a ton of retro gaming items I never play, so will punt it all and grab the remaining Snes stuff I really want and stick with that.

Yeah, I remember hearing on a retro podcast they don't actually play games from the cart. They do a temporary dump of the cart to the ROM and it plays from there until you switch the console off. Which explains why there are a few reports of glitches or certain PAL games not working. If it was manufactured from true hardware then these issues wouldn't appear.
