Retro console and games thread

I have a boxed Quickshot XII Deluxe joystick for the NES that has failed to sell for the third time.

Anyone want dibs on it? Happy to send it out no charge.

I've also got a spare copy of Monkey Hero for PS1 too. Same deal as above.
 
are boxed gamecube in as new condition with 2 boxed wavebirds in same condition worth keeping for another few years or would I be aswell selling them now if the value has "maxed out"

i think you should keep the as if nothing else will keep you entertained. I personally wouldn't sell any of the retro consoles not for at least another 10-20 years
 
I think the GameCube could well be even more collectable in coming years. When it's 20 years old or so then the teenagers that had one in the early 2000's will be in their mid thirties, maybe forty. That's when they'll have the disposable income and desire to spend on nostalgia.

Forgot I haven't posted in awhile. Here are some of my latest editions. The PS1 and Amiga games I got a few months back.







Body Blows.....not the up there with Street Fighter but I loved playing it back in the day.

MDK......best played on PC but always wanted to see what the console port was like.

Fighting Force....would have been a great game if it stuck to the original development being Streets of Rage 4/3D (dame Sega!)

Hey barmy if no one else takes you up on the offer of the nes controller if you don't mine I will

Looking to purchase a retron 1 next month or so and heard the pads SUCK

After nearly 60 odd quid wasted in past on two nes' with fault and unfixable cart ports i am conceding and going that route

Haven't found a copy in my admittedly low price range yet lol

It's not a NES controller it's a Quickshot Joystick for the NES. If you still want it I've still got your details. I've also got a 72pin connector for the NES that you might be able to salvage or repair/clean?

Would love to take you up on the offer of Monkey Hero if still available :)

Just invested in a RetroN 5, yet to give it a whirl. Big platforming fan so looking to get back into some classics.

Yeah that still sounds good please mate. I sold my shonky nes on as spares on ebay so no need for the connection thanks buddy.

Castlevania for MD holds a good price! After it myself never played one before :D

Kind of in reverse - sold my mint version pf pokemon xd on fleabay for nearly 60 quid. Pokemon firered went for near 40 and heart gold 60.

Still have my mint unused gamecube to flog yet.
