Retro console and games thread

So I might have just won another psp bundle lol

I put in like a quid more than the highest bid just made before me thinking it's gonna fly up in a sec....nope won it lol

2nd unit most likely be on mm in near future with a nice bundle of games

nice lot there above its great when you pick up someones collection.:p

~£400 nahh you get about £150-£200.depends on the bidders.

still not a every day occurrence.

carries on searching for a mint neo geo aes :D

There's 20 NES games there, at least half of which would sell in the £30-40 region. So it wasn't to far a stretch to assume an average of £20 per game. DG's estimate of £7.50-£10 a game average is a bit low ball. And if you were to sell them you wouldn't do them as a bundle anyway.

Either way, the whole bundle was an absolute bargain.

Sorted it all out yesterday, went over all the controllers with dettol wipes lol.
I will be selling all the NES games on the members market soon as i have no intrest in collecting for it (castlevania 1 is sold), so if anyone wants anything check there.

I'll be keeping most of the dreamcast games as that has really upped the quailty in my dreamcast collection as it was quite weak :-)

Before I nipped off to Alaska for a few weeks, we decided to convert the spare room into a leisure room... basically the idea is no tv shows or films, more a reading and playing room, be that board games or my consoles.

Picked up a 21" Sony Trinitron from Gumtree, for free... which was awesome! Friend gave us her old TV unit and I shifted some of my consoles from the living room into the spare room. Also took two of the shelving units, as four in a row was a bit much!

Now I'm back from the holiday, I am enjoying cracking through FF7 again and been loving Sega bass Fishing on the Dreamcast, probably because it seems to be the only game my GF will play with me!

Looking at your Project Generation thread I don't think you have room for it. I couldn't get it to fit in the same space my B&O takes up. It's about 25% deeper than the B&O and wider as the speakers are on the sides of the Sony and on the bottom of the B&O.

I wished I had the room at home because it's a better picture on the Sony by a good margin.

So sadly I think I am gonin to potentially chop down my collection a bit as a byproduct of moving house

Want to keep all of my face consoles and the rareties but thinking the xbox crystal, retron 1, master system 2, psone and maybe some other bits are going to go along with some of the big box pc and amiga games.

Sad but the good bits shall remain :)

latest purchase from me , popped into the local charity shop early this morning, and I picked up a PS2 game (and I don't own a PS2)

Simpsons the game for £1
cheap so I bought it anyway

Looks great! We literally have the same tv and tv unit set up though your collection is much more impressive :)
