Retro console and games thread

What has this thread done to me, just been on the bay looking for Gamecube's - I only sold my old one for pittance about 18 months ago :(

N64/SNES/GC AV cables are interchangeable aren't they?

Don't think the PAL GC can do component, best I've had out of it is RGB SCART. (Which is still >>> composite, which is what most people use :rolleyes: )

This thread is making me want to get out my DC. Already got the megadrive out for a quick go on streets of rage 2 and 3 the other day. Nothing like having to blow the cart and slot to bring back nostaglia!!

I have stacks of retro magazines still. All my official dreamcast, sega saturn, sega power, mean machines etc... :/ Im such a horder! I use to buy any games magazines from car boot sales with streets of rage in as kid :P
 
Hmm, someone has offered to give me a good quality 32" CRT Sony Trinitron. I'm not decided on if I'm going to take it. It would be good for retro games but it would take up about half of my living room :p

I had an absolutely mint Time Crisis 2 and G-Con gun in the big orange box. Used maybe twice.
Traded in a LOT of old games a couple of years back, including that, didn't pay attention to what was worth what, just the final amount, which was ok.
Later realised I got £4 for the gun and game together!! :(

Really wish I'd kept it, although to be fair, no CRT anymore either.

Oh how I would love to mate, but not today Im afraid. Have a lot to do, its my last weekend to finish off my dissertation (hand in during the week). Plus I gotta pack this stuff away!

Next weekend for sure :)
