QUESTION :

I've seen a game gear in box plus about 7 games next to it in boxes, how much should i look to be paying for the game gear on it's own? in your opinion. How much for each game?

There is no price and they don't know how much it's up for sale as it's only just been put in the cabinet. It's not even in a game store ;)

Just picked up a megadrive for 3 quid, 2 megadrive games for a pound and a jumble of commodore 64 games for 3 quid from a local car boot :)

If the seller says the items are no longer available as they perhaps broke, got lost, weren't tested and are now faulty, or any other reason they "could" come up with it won't be easy getting the items.

But no need to be nervous, you've done nothing wrong.

Went there to collect on Thursday, offered a fiver as it just felt wrong winning for 99p :p

Now I'm feeling greedy as I have a Mega Drive 2 and Mega CD 2 boxed with instruction manuals, all leads and controller. And a bundle of games. What is it worth? :p Bought under the condition of spares or repairs, but it all works :D

----- it has:
25 Mega Drive Games
4 Mega CD Games

I'll take it off your hands for £6 :p

Pictures!

Ahh where to start with mine...

Current
Model 1 Saturn I picked up for £15 from a mate, but sadly also has the model 1 controller :(
Acorn A5000 PC (Yeah it's technically a PC but I just play the classics on it!)
A chipped PS1 from a mate for a fiver(!) Laser was worn a bit so bought a brand new one from the bay  Also doubly cool as its an SCPH-5552 which shares the same audiophile quality DAC found in the sought after SCPH-1001/2 machines! :D
Platinum Gamecube which I never use...
Original XBOX (2nd one I've owned) w/120GB HDD :D
PS3 40GB
360 Halo 3 Limited Edition (Borrowing from a mate, its a Falcon so I hope it doesn't RROD and burn my house down ;))
Couple of Dreamcasts with VGA adapter AND a US modem which can be wired into a PC to play online still! (I have a keyboard and mouse too ;))
My current pride and joy, a PSone SCPH-102. One of the newer small machines. Love the elegant design and its so much better than the original machine in terms of styling imo.
Game Boy Colour Pokemon.
Not sure if this counts - Currently have a PC built up with a Voodoo3 in it for playing the old classics. Carmageddon for the win! The original Grand Theft Auto looks great in 3DFX Glide too ;)

Previously owned
SCPH-9002 Phat PS1 which I annoyingly ruined the laser flexiprint cable so it's now an empty shell, might do a case mod.
Phat PS2 (My first one) - Got this in 2005 from a mate as it stopped reading discs. I gave him a PS1 game he wanted at the time (Small Soldiers which was crap to begin with :p) Retuned the laser and it was fine :D Later sold for £50 to fund another machine.
Phat PS2 - Got from a mate for basically peanuts after the drive tray was playing up. Again sold off to fund something or other.
Slim PS2 - Again got this cheap (About a tenner) but later gave it away as I didn't use it. Lovely machine, love the design but my one was particularly beaten up)
Purple Gamecube - Got this cheap from a friend, sold it to fund the purchase of...
A silver Nintendo DS. Owned it for a while then sold it for a...
PSP - Had this and at the same time I owned...
An XBOX (First one I owned) which I traded with a mate for a...
Nintendo DS Lite White - Cool little machine but I couldn't turn down the trade of this and my PSP for a...
Nintendo Wii! Yeah bit naff now but I got this a few months before the xmas when everyone wanted one. So at Christmas I sold my Wii for £250! Tidy profit which allowed me to buy my PS3.
N64 Orange - Cool machine that I was given  but stupidly got rid of, although it was to fund my Dreamcast :)
Game Gear - Nice bit of kit, didn't bowl me over though
GameBoy Colour (Purple) - Bought for about £3 iirc.

And my stupidest thing - A model 1 PAL MegaDrive, which I had around 30~35 games for, a few pads and the original arcade stick which I traded with a mate in school for a few PC games  Although I was about 12 at the time...

As you can see I've had most of what was out there at one point or another. Wouldn't mind getting some other stuff though somewhen when I have the cash (Amiga, 3DO etc). Maybe even a CD-i...

Just kidding, CD-i's suck! :p

Quick question guys, How much should I pay for a Retro NES coloured GBA SP? My local shop has one in with charger for £10

It is the grey European version not the awesome looking red famicom version though :(

Hooked on this retro game right now :o

Modded my PSone

Built a SCART lead for my Acorn A5000, so now I can play stuff without needing to source a multi-sync monitor :D

By the way, has anyone seen this? I really really want to build one now!
