Well now, look what I picked up on ebay the other day.

Finally moved into my new house this weekend and got my little retro console room together. Managed to save a CRT from being binned by a friend so I can spend this week playing some of these beauties.

They are pretty good fun! Sort of like a better game boy advanced but a weird selection of games (lots of arcade neo-geo games).

Got one for a mates wedding gift a couple of weeks ago and he was loving it as he hadn't thought about the one he used to have when we first became mates about 10 years before which he sold back when it was worth 60 quid.

Anyway class console!

I love the console but the only game I play is SNK Vs Capcom. Even though I brought Sonic I didn't played it much. But for portable versions of NeoGeo classics such as KOF, Metal Slug, Last Blade etc its great.
 
Whaoh I never knew PoP was on the mega cd, I shall be getting that!

Just realised I have Snatcher and Night Trap as well. Snatcher was a damn good game.

Finally got round to it the other night, didn't have the tools to desolder it, pair of pliers I did have to hand :o

I'm glad it still works though :p

Managed to get hold of my Amiga 500+ two weeks ago.. Was working for a few days then it stopped. Found out it was the battery which was causing the problem. Didnt get a chance to remove it but cleaned it up. Then the floppy drive decided to fall to bits internally, so Im back to square one with a none working Amiga:(
 
went to local market/bootsale today,and spotted this amiga 1200,wasnt going to buy it but the guy said £4,so i bought it,box is abit tatty and amiga is abit yellowed.
