Battery in my DKC 3 decided to die :(.

Replaced it with a socket for easy changeover next time. Saw others doing it, so thought I'd do it to mine instead of getting a tabbed battery.

what do you mean exactly by "replaced it with a socket" please?

Normally a tabbed cr2032 is soldered there. I removed it and soldered a cr2032 socket/holder in it's place instead. So I can just pop a standard cr2032 in the holder (tabbed ones are more expensive) and if it needs to be changed again, it's just a quick swap of the battery.
