Retro console and games thread

Yeah I do but its dead. Been in the loft for years after I was given it by my dad. My pal controller has a button that is sticking so dug those us ones out of the loft and they are working like new! :)

Managed to pick up Jurassic Park on the Mega Drive and Lylat Wars on the N64 for a £1 each at a boot sale today :)

Didn't take a picture of my new DC from last month but check this out :D

Well pleased, despite that it doesn't play amazingly on my tv (its like a smaller box but plays at a great frame rate)

Not the tv. Black border around the game is just the awful pal conversion.

Yeah its a mix, my tv isn't good at dealing with old games annoyingly. From what I remember of my old tv it used to letter box a bit and on mine it letter boxes both at the sides and the top, its useless at scaling/plays it in the original scale as a box in the middle of my tv.

Either way its still fun to play.

How much did that beauty cost you?

I purchased a boxed A1200 Comic Relief Pack with boxed Blizzard MK IV 68030 50mhz Accelerator, 50mhz FPU and 16mb ram(upgradeable to 128mb :p) for what I'd consider peanuts last week...It only needs a replacement Floppy Drive to perfect it.

:D

I have a boxed external drive for the Amiga , your welcome to it for free if its any good to you, it's boxed mint condition

I've seen The arcade PCB board of Golden Axe for sale £75 with adaptor. I assume this adaptor converts it to Jamma or something. I'm tempted to buy it.

OMG thats amazing !

i would love Double Dragon (arcade) in my home, even if its jamma or what ever my fav game of all time

I have a good collection of arcade games. I'd have bought a cabinet but haven't done due to not thinking it to be wise living a couple of floors up in an apartment.

SNK Neo geo MVS games

Art of Fighting
Blue's Journey
King Of Fighters 94
King Of Fighters 96
Metal Slug
Metal Slug 2
Sengoku
Samurai Shodown
Super Sidekicks 2

As for Jamma based games I have

Double Dragon
Robocop
Tumble Pop

I have three SNK Hyper Neo Geo 64 games and two motherboards

Soon I'll have my first Sega System 16 game Golden Axe. excited
