If the price was right on the MM I'd take one of those copies off you provided they're in decent condition. I need that and Resident Evil 4 to complete my GC collection.
 
funnily enough I just noticed recently you can get Resident Evil 1 for the WII now (and I don't mean the gamecube version) so I've been watching a couple of the bay, cant wait to give it a go again :)

cant remember if I kept my PS1, I thought about selling it last year, I don't know if I did or not (I think I may have sold it) anyway, I had Gran Turismo 1 and 2 and Ridge Racer 4 and Rage Racer, Time Crises (think it was the 2nd version or something) and a load more games I cant remember

I had Shenmu 1 years ago, completed it, epic game
 
Although it's not retro, I picked up Sonic Racing Transformed a couple of days ago and i've got to say it really is a nostalgia overload :D

I had the most gormless looking grin on my face (according to the other half anyway) when racing around the 16-bit themed levels, the music remixes really are something to behold. If you were a Sega fan in the 90's then I'd definitely recommend picking this up :)


On a more retro themed note, I picked up a copy of World Grand Prix on the Master System for £1. You've got to love the track editor :D
 
On the subject of modding my Megadrive, can I just be lazy and hardmod it for 60hz rather than faffing with a switch?

Looks like all I need to do is cut the traces between the jumpers and it defaults to american region.

Will my PAL version of sonic then play at full speed?

Been collecting Super Nintendo stuff when I can get it for a bargain, never had one of these as a kid, had a megadrive so really enjoying playing through some of these classics, couldn't put Zelda down until I had cleared everything, currently blasting through Super Metroid.

Has anyone bought one of those reproduction boxes from the bay, I got Metroid for an absolute steal so couldnt be fussy over the lack of a box so tempted to try a repro.

Should really have taken a picture of the snes, very clean only a slight tint on the name plate, guess if I was bothered I could grab a replacement, also thanks to a mate with better soldering skills than I, there is a switchless mod installed for 60hz and region unlocking, looking for a cheap converter in case I ever pick us US games as I would rather not widen the cart slot.

Anybody got any ideas on where to look for a Sega Rally/2 arcade cabinet (upright)?

Tried eBay and a couple of forums, but only found one available so far. Not sure if Im missing out on some active forums.

Pah, reproduction! I still have an original SNES .... fully boxed and with 1/2 dozen games that I bought during the short period I played it :)
 
JonnyCasino the collection you have going there is fantastic, cant believe how good the condition some of that is. :eek:
 
You should get some box protectors for your games jonny casino , I got 10 from eBay I think worked out about £1 each but I think they are worth it to stop boxes getting tatty

They actually all have box protectors on :P , except Theme Park as I only bought a set of 10, time to order more.
 
Picked up some more PS1 titles for 50p each from bootsale,got a extra bonus in the nba box under the disc it had a copy of lemmings for ps1 :)

Got a few ps2 games from charity shops i paid £2.49 each for these,, i always fancied playing okami and that haven looked intresting but after looking on ebay its not worth much so might of got stung on that ,damn charity shops

these games were 99p each from a different charity shop,i nearly bought another copy of metal gear solid ,i had to talk myself out of it :) i dont know nothing about the games apart from tenchu,they looked pretty interesting so for 99p i thought might aswell get them

And finnaly i got Code veronica for £2.99 and its in MINT condition with the devil may cry demo and crash bandi for £1.99 another charity shop (british heart)

Now I just need to pick up a ps2,i keep trawling the bootsales but not seen many,i did see a slim one but no power supply
