Kickstart 2, spent a lot of hours on that as a kid on the spectrum, I'm sure it made trials fusion hd look like a walk in the park, but that was probably down to the almost non existent collision detection randomly throwing me off the bike.

Got all 3 pads and the joystick in bits from my big Saturn find posted earlier.
Really is good to give consoles and pads a clean up soon after you've bought them.

20 year old uncleaned pads are not nice!

EDIT: The SNES I just got from Ebay for £11.49 collected is in bits too getting a wash.

I love my SNES

I have Mario Kart , Super Mario World , pga golf and sensible soccer but what I REALLY want is Zelda (don't care if no box I want to play it not look at it) , loved that game.

I got a mint boxed NTSC one from a bloke on here a few years ago for £25 iirc.
I even went on Ebay and spent a tenner on a mint NTSC manual. I need the map though but it is my prized retro game!

My SNES sound was fubarred. The right speaker would not work, even with a new capacitor (old one blown).
Now I have a new (to me) SNES I can finally get Zelda out and play it as I should....but did I do 60HZ mod first?

Attempted to tidy up my games, still need to work on putting them in a better order. Got lots of loose carts behind the boxed stuff, the PS2 games are double staked and I still have a box with Gameboy and Gamegear games to go through but getting there slowly.

Its being a good last month or so for "Bens rare possibly unaffordable stuff" list

Cheap boxed speccy +2 for £15 and a mega cd package for £26. Today was a big moment when I found a boxed copy of awesome for the Amiga for £9.99 posted!! Nearly danced and everything (I dont dance unless full of beer and cake..

Reminds me i still need to clean my MD2 i picked up from Gumtree earlier in the year. Did the pads after i got it, they were vile to say the least. They were also defective to a degree so i cobbled together one working pad out of two dodgy ones.

Saw a boxed speccy +2 with a bunch of legit games (guy said around 100 or so) on Gumtree about 3 weeks ago. Bast wanted £150 for it though lol :eek:

decided to have a break from buying again after what has arrived in the last few days lol

Now have complete versions of NBA JAM and Afterburner 3 for the Mega CD and a jap copy of Switch too (looks proper random!)

Eternal Champions for the Megadrive, Donkey Konga 2 for the GC and the previously mentioned Amiga Awesome.

Have a mountain of speccy games on my watch list too as some guy on ebay has loads of sealed psygnosis games for not a lot of money.....damn him!

Dug my Megadrive 2 out for the first time in years! Only have an rf lead for it, what if anything is better for hooking up?

Also anyone got any games kicking around the no-longer want/need? I must have sold a pile back in the day and don't have as many as I remember having

Just bought Sonic and Earthworm Jim for £11... This could get addictive!

If you had the choice of buying 5 great MD games what should they be? I can hardly remember what I played/missed out on back in the day.
