Retro console and games thread

drat.....had early night as (as you can see) I am up stupid early to go see customers in london....YAY

I have two Dreamcasts now, both from different periods in the production cycle and neither have yellowed. Same for my SNES.
 
Well, Got myself Sonic 2, Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles today, all boxed, Just need to pick up a Sonic 1 cheap enough and I'll be happy, Not a bad first 3 games to get to start re-living my childhood! :)
 
I am trying to hunt down a tidy boxed Sony & Knuckles but they get for silly money, same for Sonic Adventure 2 on the Dreamcast.
 
Just found this thread and enjoyed reading through.

Does anyone struggle with "letting go" of games? I've got Mario part 2 + 3 on N64. Never play them and don't enjoy it when I do.

Looking on eBay they are worth quite a bit, but part of me wants to hold onto them regardless!!
 
Very much so. I think a lot of us are collectors in here these days.

That's part of the joy of ownership I think. You have your own bit of gaming history :)

Well it seems to be working. The included AV cable is horrific quality and one of the side pins on teh RCA has come clean off of it lol. Need to buy a new one to sort that out but otherwise sound and audio all pretty good.

My free Xbox 360 Elite has arrived from friend too meaning its back to Forza Horizon for me :D
