Retro console and games thread

Picked this up this morning for £10 most ppl walked past it just thought it was a normal cd player even the guy who I bought it off lol, so pretty happy to add it to my collection along with similar consoles like the amiga cd32 and Panasonic 3do.

Great find on the CDi.

Repros arrived from China via AliExpress.

Took two weeks to get here, they work fine. The PCB is a little thicker and so they are a bit tight in the cartridge slot. Labels aren't too bad, maybe a touch muddy and the colours maybe are a bit off. Looks like they are box cover art shrunk to fit cartridge labels, rather than the actual original cartridge artwork labels.

But for £2.88 each including postage I don't think there's anything to complain about.

Interesting, was thinking of getting a everdrive but these don't look too bad at all for £2.88 , and will look better on the shelf instead of one everdrive cart lol
Think i will have to order a few of these
 
Everdrive has the advantage of playing Master System and 32x ROMs too. So it's worth having one anyway. Also the chance to play the rarer and more expensive games on original hardware makes buying decisions more informed than emulation.
 
This is my current cart shell for my super everdrive. I cut the SD card down to size as not to cut up the shell and even kept the label hahaha. I bought it purely for the awesome gun metal colour.

I saw some of these as well, I'm not so sure myself I was kind of tempted for a Castlevania Bloodlines since an original US Genesis one is around £80.00 (boxed)

that said I class these more as boots than quality reproductions or community releases of beta/lost games. The other thing I worry about is the quality of the PCB and other components damaging your retro console such as incorrect voltages etc. At least with an official everdrive the components are top notch and won't damage your console.
 
Picked up a boxed with instructions Tiny Toon Adventures on SNES, Mickey Mania, Mick & Mack Global Gladiators & World of Illusion on Mega Drive for £30! Happy
 
Found some guy on ebay selling the hd collection of zone of the enders on 360, sealed as new for £4.97!

Had to be done as I LOVED those games
 
I picked up the Ratchet & Clank and Sly Cooper HD trilogies this week. Also looking for the Jak & Daxter HD trilogy too, but prices are a bit steep.

Some other PS3 pick ups as well while they are cheap. All new and sealed games. Also got the art book for Dragons Crown.
