Retro console and games thread

The wife has taken up Animal Crossing on the DS again so I was going to get the 3DS version... £30+ still?

Secondhand is cheaper but not by much, do 3DS games work OK if you sell them on or is there a registration part now? Cheers.

£25.50 new on Amazon atm but yes 2nd hand would be ok.

Shenmue 1 & 2. Resident evil code Veronica. Crazy taxi 1 & 2. Sonic adventure 1 & 2. Skies of Arcadia. Street fighter games. Metropolis street racer.

That should keep you going :)

Sega bass fishing, jet set radio, soul calaber, Rush 2049 (play that multiplayer), house of the dead 2, oporation flashpoint (think that's what it's called), Le Mans 24 hour, speed Devils, sega rally 2, there's a couple of jap on rails shooters that are great, possibly the best versions of res evil 2/3 tony Hawks pro skater and skater 2 and most importantly MR DRILLER!!

Chu chu rocker, samba de amigo, space channel 5 for something a little odd

Just thought that'd add to the things to look out for :)

Got a couple of charity shop ps1 bargains today.

GTA 2
Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace

Got both for a total cost of 20p.

Just back from play Expo Manchester, got a few goodies.

Plugged this YouTube channel in it's own thread to zero interest...

Might be more relevant here....

One credit classics

Nothing to do with me, but good fun stuff from a bloke who's clearly a legit enthusiast.

thanks for this, watched a few of his vids so far. the castle of illusion one is unwatchable tho but he sorted it out.

A couple of pick ups this week.

First up is a couple of PSP's (a 3000 in Radiant Red and a 1000 with a cracked screen) and some games, this was a bit of a score really. The seller basically took a picture of what must have been their spare room junk and listed it.

Amongst the PSP's and games were DVD box sets, a Yamaha keyboard, a drum machine, poker chips, cables, chargers, etc.

So I picked up the lot for £30, traded in the DVD's at CEX for £15 and so two PSP's and 11 games has so far cost me £15. The keyboard and drum machine might fetch £50 according eBay sold listings, so might not cost me anything at all.

Also got Thunder Force V for PS1 from eBay, paid £37 delivered, which isn't bad price really.

I've also completed my PlayStation 3 HD remakes/remasters collection, so far just the PAL physical releases. But might go for the Japanese and North American ones as well.

This is a picture of the lot the seller posted, if anyone is interested.

Here is some of my Gamecube collection.

Complete with the official carry case

The boxes and other games are in a box in the garage. There is also a wired controller in the bag.

What's the best way to determine the hardware in my Amiga 1200? I know I may have to open it up and look inside unless they all come as standard kit. I have seen a lot of upgradability is possible so it's something I would consider.

I'd recommend asking in Commodore Amiga Facebook group, I know it's Facebook lol but it does have over 12k members, with people who re-cap and the like
