Retro Consoles (N64, Gamecube, etc.) on a PC Monitor

Well if you have one of those old CRT monitors you could probably balance the consoles on top of it. I fear with the new LCD's they'd just fall off though 
you know what I mean.

I don't think it possible. There are converters around to allow you to connect to a monitor via the composite leads but the picture quality is crap.
I tried for years to get my PS2 on a monitor but I could never get the picture good enough. HDTV Exploder for the PS2 was the only option but it doesn't work with all games.
As for the Gamcube you could use this:
But you will need a component lead which are very rare for the Gamecube.
