Or, in this case, retro cooling. Long story short, all I've got around right now is an old 1ghz P3. And its very noisy and its that irritating groaning whirr. Basically, its exactly like when they were rennovating the house next-door. Except its drilling into my head instead of the wall. And it stutters occasionally. So I'm thinking, buy some cheap and nasty slightly quieter job. Problem is, its socket 370 and the last time anyone actually made em was about the year 370. I remember hearing that some socket A coolers for Athlon XPs and the like would fit on either, does this apply to the lot or only certain brands? In fact, can you even get THEM anymore?!
