Hi guys,

Was just reading a review of the Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 that I've just bought (from a competitor, sorry guys, the shipping kills you on one off OcUK orders) and read a line that made me chuckle at the end of it "...same people who manage to play FPS's with a joystick." It got me wondering, and I thought I'd test the community, do any of you play non flight games with a joystick? If so, why, and you are immensely cool imho! Anyone at all?

When I was younger I used to play most of my racing games with a joystick. That was only because keyboards are bloody useless and I didn't have a wheel and my gamepad was out of order.

I actually got pretty good with it. But playing racing games with a joystick usually reduces the life expectancy of it. You can't be too rough with them.

That was until I got my wheel, never looked back since.

Years ago I played a 2d platform game of Duke Nukem with a joystick because it had turbo fire on it :D The stick lasted a good 2 months at least!
