Long story short...

I have a Super Nintendo, wanting to play it on my TV without having to sit right next to it.

Whats the name of lead or connection that connects the Nintendo to the TV... Is it just an AV lead?

You can use the same scart lead which came on the Gamecube.

you better off playing on a older crt tvs unless you want fancy gizmos/cables that are expensive for the older consoles to get the best picture.

snes mariokart was the best! What's your ghost track (first one) time trial time? I could get under 1:09 IIRC.
