Hi...

I'm always looking for the best way to play classic Sega and Nintendo games without going for original equipment due the issues with modern Tv's. I did think about get the Mini Systems but again, they are limited in terms of what I want to play.

Has anyone bought one of these systems for playing original carts? Does the emulation idea put you off getting an authentic experience?

Arguably the best way to play SNES and MD/MS games will be via the Analogue Super NT and Mega SG consoles.

Its hardware emulation so better than you'll get via software. I have a Super NT and it plays all my PAL and US carts flawlessly. Connects to my big TV using HDMI too. Very happy with it. I also have a Mega SG coming when they are released soon.

They used to do a NES machine too but it was quite expensive.
