RetroPie On Raspberry Pi 2

Hi all,

I'm hoping someone can help, I have a raspberry pi 2 setup using Retropie(Kodi and various emulators) I have managed to get my xbox 360 wireless controller working in the Kodi and the menus to select each emulator, however as soon as i go into any emulator the controller doesnt work, i have to revert to the keyboard to play any games. Any idea how i fix this? I'm stuck and have tried allsorts.

I use Recalbox but the setup is normally the same so have you setup the controller as you have to go into settings and let it find the controller then map the buttons
