Retrospectively adding service history?

I've been to a dealers today and found a nice Focus for my wife. It's a 54 plate but crucially does not have the service book filled in. The dealer has contacted the previous dealer who has confirmed that it has been serviced twice as it should have been for its mileage. He is now saying that they can update the service book with this information.

Is this legit and will it look legit to prospective buyers when I come to sell?

Not sure what "fsh" is? It's had services at 10.5k and 19.4k miles and has about 27k miles on it in total.

So general feel is could affect resale slightly but it's probable that the dealer can at least put 'back in' the services it has had? That sounds good enough for me.
