I stopped playing around 8 months ago as i got tired of the same thing happening over and over again. Has much changed really heard there was a fair size update and any corps worth joining if i did go back?

The reason i stopped was last time i was in i had the red army barracading where i was and got taken out multiple times.

I went back a year ago and yes, have had a few moments of 'Same old, Same old', but have to say, love it and dont wont to move away.

There is a new update due sometime in March, which will allow you to actually get out of your pod and walk around the space station. They are alos bringing in T3 tech and modular ships, so there is big changes a foot.

As for corps, it depends on what you are after. Personaly i would recommend Black Mesa Corp (BMC and BMRD, Black Mesa Research and Development). Thats the one i started with. BMC and BMRD are mostly PvP based, with jaunts into null sec. Only recently, we have had areshuffle and moved the industrialists out in to a seperate corp, Nova Prospekt (thats the one i'm in), but there are plenty of other corps out there. We have a Vent server up and running and a very active and humerous member count.

Hope that helps you out

Paul

Yes that does help me a bit thank you. My character was designed to be a fighter, but of course that's been made more difficult as each time i see an update something else has been cheerfully nerfed.

The new expansion in March is introducing over 2000 new solar systems, where people can't camp and they can't claim it with towers, it will contain new and improved NPCs and drop materials for the new Tech 3 cruiser configurations. If you can get yourself into a corp that will be focussing on this then I bet there will lots of fun to be had, and these wormholes that you need to find to get into the systems will occur all over the place. high sec > 0.0

Sounds interesting, the walk around stations i knew that was meant to be coming, but didn't think they we're that close.

I played for about a year, but stopped when I calculated the time needed to research all my desired skills was gonna take over another year. A year spent waiting is not fun, imo.

My 2 year skill plans made me quit after a year of playing. Was going to try again although i think it's more expensive to play now with the sucky exchange rates.
