Stick with Nvidia if you are in VR a lot.

I hope this year sees graphics card stock return to normal. I'm fed up missing out on the 3080 FE at rrp of £650. Seeing all these 3080s and 6800XTs inflated to £1300 to take advantage of supply issues is shocking.

dunno what your budget is but its quite easy to get a 3080TI FE at msrp (about £1050) using Telegram signed up to FE Part Alert, i did it for my 3080TI FE. IIRC you do see 3080s on there too but they sell out in seconds, the 3080TI's last about 30 minutes, the 3090's last a couple of hours.

Might as well go for a 3090FE or 3080ti FE over paying inflated prices for AIB cards.

I've had my 3090FE for nearly a year, and though I winced at the price, I've had a full years use and I'm glad I'm not having to jump on alerts all the time.

Plus it's an awesome card of course.
