Returned items advertised as ex-display

depends, was/is there a decent discount on the product?

edit: beaten to it....as above basically. need to know all the 'variables' before answering.

Questions I’d be asking:
- Why was it returned?
- How long did they have it?
- Is it in good nick?
- Did I get a good price?

If you’re happy with the answers then I wouldn’t sweat it, unless you want to return t on principle.

That's not the issue. Ex-display and customer returns are two different things. Why not advertise a customer return as a b-grade like ocuk does? I'd happily buy an ex-display item but never a customer return.

You've answered your own question, you aren't happy. Personally, if the price is right, I want the item and there isn't anything wrong with it, I don't see a problem.

If there is an issue with the product or it is missing items not explicitly stated then yeah, I'd be annoyed.

Dont forget b grade are not always customer returns. I've also seen ex-display stuff in worse condition than customer returns. If at all possible see if first hand before buying.

That's a bit of a generalised statement. As far as you know another customer could have purchased it, decided they didn't like the shape of it and returned it. Meaning it's likely in a substantially better condition than an ex-display model.

As others have said, all depends on the factors.
