returned to a house infested with moths!

Probably clothes moths, they laid eggs in carpet, clothes, etc but, as other have said, you need treat the source or you will never get rid of them, purge the place, for full eradication.

My mum use to use a white sheet suspended across the room, fix sticky strips to the sheet & place a light behind the sheet, caught dozens.

They hate clean clothes, heat & cold, when we had the them, mum put all our clothes in the chest freezer for several days, then washed them.

If there small brown moths check your cupboards for open bags of flour/powdered foods
Had a similar thing and couldnt work out where they were coming from then someone told me to check my cupboards and there they were pesky little buggers

hard for me to read the rest of my own thread seriously after robbie's post. 5 stars for you.

and i keep finding cocoons stuck on the walls. i bat em down when i do. i kill about 10 moths a day, but they're always back later...i think i need a load of strips as stated and just stick em everywhere. no idea as to the source though.

Sounds like an absolute nightmare, my sister has a phobia of moths - can I arrange for her to stay over? :D

depends on her rating out of 10 tbh
