My 6 month old Google Pixel 3a XL has decided to stop charging. I have tried several different chargers and also attempted to connect it to a computer to see if it's recognised; it isn't. I'm now stuck with a phone that only has 8% charge left on it, that I rely on HEAVILY for work. Could someone please tell me how I can go about sorting a return / exchange?

I have never had to do this before, so have no idea of the best place to start. For reference, I bought the phone through Carphone warehouse in April of this year. Pretty ****** off about it tbh; without a phone I'm stuck. Advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks:)

Go into the phone’s settings and start a support session. As you bought your phone from CPW you’ll be asked to send it back to Google before they send you a new one.

in my experience over the views with different manufacturers. when you send your phone off for repair, they never send you a new one. rather a refurbished one. This can result in either a phone that is as good as new or might have scratches on. which annoys me royaly as I baby my phones and very rarely do my phones get scratched.
