I got a Samsung i8910 after recommendations by a mate, and I'm sorely disappointed with it TBH. Crap operating software, no applications, unreliable, and poor battery.

I'm coming up to about 3 months down the line of signing it up.

Would there be any chance of me arguing that it's rubbish and I don't want it? It really is poor compared to the iPhone - and pretty much any other phone tbh. :(

Where are the apps everyone talks about? Seriously, I'd like to know.

Main gripe is that it's buggy, even with later firmwares. Doesn't even do what it's advertised to do - stuff with communities etc. just doesn't work.

The browser is poor. Takes ages to render and, again, is buggy. Scrolling with your finger isn't exactly slick.

The screen is best thing about it, admittedly. But then again in daylight you really can't see anything.

What are the features that it 'wastes' the iPhone over atpbx? There are loads of actually useful apps for the iPhone that don't just scream 'I've got an iPhone, look at me!!'.

Do a search for a symbian based forum, apps are everywhere, you just have to find them.

What bugs are there you're talking about? I find it to be pretty bug free, and everything it's advertised to do is there, besides the video editing app if you take early prototype information as adverts.

Admittedly the browser was sub-par on the orange firmware but with the newer ones I find it fine, obviously not as quick as opera mini, but what is?

What about the signing and whatnot? A lot of apps I've seen on the internet require that they be signed by yours truly, and when you have to hack about and whatnot it's too much effort.

Any pointers for good forums? I get the response of google a symbian based forum every time I've asked this, but all I get is unsigned rubbish. It's probably just down to be being a bit special though. ;)
