So...I bought a 1010b Linx the other week whilst it's a good tablet and cannot fault it I've done an impulse buy today for a larger more spec tablet and wish to return this original to Currys (the one bought today is additional spec and less £!)

Now I know Currys may not accept the return based on 'didn't fit my requirements'. So what is a good fault I could make up for them to refund? I.e wireless is dropping? Anyone had experience of returning an unwanted open item to Currys or PC World?

Run over it with your car? Say it was like that when you bought it and thought it was a new look but have had trouble getting it to work! :D

Ha. I'd rather try Currys first, I might use he old 'it's over heating'. If that failed I'll slam it on Members Market...

Unless whoever you get on customer services can't be bothered to deal with the hassle generally once you've "activated" the software side of a product returns won't be accepted and they will try and address faults with a replacement.

if you have it for less than 2 weeks most retailers are good with accepting a return/offering a refund, especially if you pull the intermittent fault claim and harp on about never shopping there again, if they wont refund. If it's longer than 2 weeks you're likely to get the it's manufacturers problem answer.

Tbh its not really ***** fault you did not research your purchase correctly and posting on a public forum about making up faults to return is not really the smartest move but hey good luck.....:)
