Used to be heavily involved in the community around 10-15 years ago but then got hit with a heap of real life, wife, kids etc and gaming just fell off the radar.
My daughter is now in secondary school and learning about building a computer, the different components etc. My son is a bit younger but massively into console gaming.
I'm just thinking of taking the opportunity to work with my daughter to spec something up and build it with her and then everyone can play on that. It would only be simple games, Fortnite, Minecraft etc for now, but if we get a decent motherboard that leaves room for upgrades down the line. Just need to get up to date with all the latest spec, last time I checked a GTX 590 was peak graphics card so I'm a few generations behind now
