I'm returning a faulty item to Amazon and the person I spoke to on the phone told me they'd send me a pre-paid label through to my email that needed to be printed off and attached to the package. However I don't currently have a printer and they told me to just write the details on the package but wasn't very specific.

Anyone that has done this before, which details do I actually need to write on the package? As on the pre-paid labels their are bar codes and other things.

Cheers

I've done this with Parcel2go pickups, just write everything relevant to the delivery on a label and stick it on the box, works just fine :)

Check the Amazon website it should tell you what details you need to write on the package, I've done it before without a printer no problem

If you do not have a printer please write your order number, e-mail address and other information on a piece of paper and include in your package to help us identify your return.

I'm fairly sure that the email Amazon sends you has details on it of what to write on your box if you don't have a printer. Try re-reading the email.

You don't actually need a printer. Read all the info again, I'm sure I saw something about just writing the required info on the parcel if you don't have a printer.

Of course this was after I'd gone through the trouble of printing it myself.

Edit: Upon actually reading the OP... I'd just put the number under the bar code, and maybe include the invoice in the parcel.
