Hi all, I bought a pack of golden delicious the other day from asda, I've had two from the pack now and both of them were horrible - nothing delicious about them :(, I mean too sour, very thick skin on them & generally just not nice. Do you think it's a bit petty returning them & asking for a refund, at the end of the day I did pay for them (£1.50)so surely I'm entitled to return them but It does seem a bit petty, there's 4 left BTW.

They will give you your money back, no problems there. They will however point you out on the security camera and call you a tight arse.

Anyway, golden delivious is the variety, not the description.

Hahaha some people in this world crack me up! What's ur bank detials I'll BT u 1.50 to save the embarrassment of asking for a refund! Do u squeak when u walk?

Won't somebody think of the shoe leather?

they will refund you and as you walk away the staff behind the customer service desk will turn to each other, raise an eyebrow and possible say tight ****;)

I complained to the makers of Jelly Tots once that a packet had split and dropped sugar all over my jeans. It was a sort of student joke (crazy times). They sent me a cheque for £1 woot.

Personally I don't understand why anyone would buy Golden Delicious apples. They're possibly the worst, most tasteless apples on the market.

Really?

Guessing that you don't live near the supermarket, if you drove there you'll probably use just as much fuel and waste so much time at customer services.

Also I was expecting rotten apples not "I didn't like the taste of them"

I would write a formal letter of complaint to Mr Delicious if I am honest, why not just go straight to the source rather than the reseller?
