Just need some good sound advice please.

To get this syatem you are going to have to use your 4870 you have nowand wait for a 5970 to come instock or replace it with 2 5970's its up to you but its what i would buy if i had the money:

VTX ATI Radeon HD 5970 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

Asus Rampage II Extreme Intel X58 (Socket 1366) DDR3 Motherboard

Intel Core i7 920 D0 Stepping (SLBEJ) 2.66Ghz (Nehalem) (Socket LGA1366) - OEM

Corsair TX 950W ATX SLI Compliant Power Supply (CMPSU-950TXUK)

Coolermaster HAF 932 Case - Black

OCZ Platinum 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C7 1333MHz Triple Channel (OCZ3P1333LV6GK)

ViewSonic VA2213w 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor x 2

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit - OEM (GFC-00599)

Patriot PS-100 32GB 2.5" SATA-II Solid State Hard Drive

Corsair H50-1 High-Performance CPU Watercooler (Socket LGA775/1156/1366/AM2/AM3)

Samsung SpinPoint F3 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (HD502HJ)

Samsung SH-S223C/BEBE 22x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM

TOTAL = £1,865.88 INC POSTAGE

P.s. i don't know if you can have those monitors in portrait mode and i would wait for other people to post their opinions on my recomendations first :)

you can get this rig cheaper by going for a lower spec mobo, psu, GPU's etc but if you have the money and want high end, then thats what i would go for

i use 3ds max my self and its all about processing power over GPU power so if you can overclock get an I7 920, its not that difficult on these cpu's apparently a 10 min job to get 4Ghz.
