Hi there,
I am in the process of returning my Dell Alienware AW3423DWF monitor. It looks amazing, but it has a whine sound which makes it difficult to keep. Anyway, I am now being more cautious about what I do next. I have liked the OLED penel in the dell, but I do a lot of normal office stuff on the PC, so static images might be an issue over time (although Dell must be pretty confident it wont be an issue as offer 3 year warranty) so maybe I should avoid oled for now. I have liked the ultrawide format, but I think a more traditional 4k 16:9 aspect ratio might suit better. I think I would like

- Gaming (Everything from football manager, to halo, to dark souls)
- Office use too
- 4k - I think I want this, but not a deal killer.
- Not sure on screen tech
- Reasonable response times
- 100x100 vesa compatible useful for my monitor arm
- For use with PC, rather than console.
- I dont need speakers.
- I have liked HDR, so I think I would want that too
- No desire for RGB
- 30"+ ideally
Any tips on what to aim for? Thanks for reading.
