He'll most likely get a replacement / offer of a repair, if he's lucky a refund. Hence if he is going to use an excuse, it might as well be that it's not needed.

I just saw this on watchdog. I would be getting slightly worried as its not even summer yet.
This is what happens when you buy an Apple product. But most people won't admit to wanting to take the thing back to the shop for a full refund.

I don't regret for 1 second getting my iPhone or iPad.
I think it's a case of some people will use it to its full potential and some won't.
Those that won't will feel it wasn't worth the cost, and those that do think it was worth every penny.
