Returning items to the shop?

So i bought an 8800GT, on advice from these forums, as well as 2 gigs of extra ram... but i'm not really happy with the purchase... would it be possible for me to return the stuff to the shop, and how would i go about returning the stuff and getting a PNY 8800GTS instead?

i went direct to the shop and bought, so i can't use the DSR...
 
If you have all the packaging intact and the product as is apart from it being out of the shrink wrapping, I can't see why they wouldn't allow you to swap, especially if the GTS costs more.

It's not law (afaik) but a lot of places have policies like the DSR (I know where I work does) whereby if the product is fit to be resold (as in almost pristine, no damage, etc) then you can return it within 7 days for a full refund.

But it depends from shop to shop so ask.
